Several
years ago, the Lord spoke to me and said, “I have called you to encourage and
enlighten the children because no one will love them like you do.”
I have always known of my call to work with children but it was a matter
of timing.
Our initial worship training session was
September 10, 2005 to God be the glory!
Salt
and Light Ministry is a new dimension of
Divine Arts Ministry and is being birthed in response to the call and purpose of
God for my life and a sincere desire to pour into the next generation. It is an
inter-denominational, multi-cultural, Para-church ministry.
Salt
seasons and preserves, Light illuminates and dispels darkness.
The Lord has selected a sanctified group of young ladies ages 5 through
17 who have a heart for worship. The
bible tells us that a child will lead them and I believe that as the Spirit of
God pours into these young ladies, that he will use them to pour out his glory
in the earth!
They
will be the salt God uses in order to flavor and preserve that which is corrupt
and decaying. They will be light to
show Christ to those who are in darkness. They
will also be salt and light to the Christian artists who have sacrificed true
worship on the altar of compromise and an encouragement to worship God
wholeheartedly.
This
is not an ordinary group of young women, each has a heart for worship and I
believe that they will operate at a level in the spirit realm which is beyond
their years. We are believing God
for an anointing in deliverance, warfare, healing, and prophetic and each will
be trained in prayer and evangelism.
The
Salt and
Light Ministry worshippers are a chosen
generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own special people, who
proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous
light. 1 Peter 2:9
