Are you pursuing a big luxury car to show you made it?
Are you pursuing a new job or a promotion?
Or are you a fugitive from giving God your full devotion?

Have you fled or abandoned your child?
Have you fled sluttish ways and being wild?
Have you fled the danger of Satan and sin?
Have you fled the abuse of battering men?
Have you fled adultery and cheating?
Have you fled drinking and partying?
Have you fled hate and discrimination?
Have you fled from God's justice and protection?
If you say yes with an up and down nod,
Turn yourself over to the Heavenly Chief.
His love, His grace, His rod
And staff shall comfort thee.
Then you won't be a fugitive spiritually.

Most wanted by the DEA,
The most wanted by the CIA,
The most wanted by the FBI!
No! The most wanted by God up high.

God is looking for all elders, middle aged, teens and youths;
Anyone who hasn't been worshipping him in spirit and in truth.

God is looking for his children to be with him
In moments of happiness and not just moments that are dim.

God is looking for all who need some guidance.
Surrender and let His wisdom and light have a chance.

God is looking for all considered not saved,
Those wayward souls and those misbehaved.

God is looking for all fugitives from His grace;
Traitors and deserters that have disappeared without a trace.

God is looking for all that lack faithfulness
To imprison them with His love and kindness.

VACATION PACKING

Spring is here.
Summer is almost here.
Vacations are just around the corner,
Approaching quickly and growing near.

And so often we plan our trips,
Make itineraries or reservations,
Get State Department travel tips,
Submit passport applications,
And sometimes let our spiritual side slip.

And often you may take along
New clothes and excitement,
And forget what really belongs;
Forgetting to pack your Christ commitment;
Forgetting to keep your faith and righteousness strong.

So before you depart on a summer getaway,
Pack your Lord in your heart keeping him close,
Pack your bible for a daily reading, a scripture dose,
Since you probably won't make it to church while you are away.

Also before you leave on vacation this year,
Plan it with the Lord's honor and glory in mind.
Make sure your character and language is kind;
Remember to keep the Lord spiritually near.

cause God is like medicine

No need to be sad, mope or frown
or let people bring your mood down
cause God's love everywhere
and the best inspiration in town.
So calm down!

No need to complain and think negative
or let depression cultivate and live
cause God has an abundance of light
and positivity to give.
So calm down!

No need to cheat, lie or steal
or commit suicide with an overdose of pills
cause God is the guidance you need
and can cure your life's sins and ills.
So calm down!

No need to dwell on what you haven't done
or races you haven't won
and unmapped goals
cause God has your life under control.
So calm down!

or trying to make them understand your point of view.
So let it rest!

or turning road rage into murder with a gun.

No use in stressing yourself out
or walking around mad or in a pout.
So let it rest!

No use in worrying about what other think about you
or what they say.
Just continue walking and living in a spiritual way.
So let it rest!

No use in trying to be what others want you to be
for the only one you have to prove anything to is God the Almighty
So let it rest!

In God's hands are our problems and pests.
God knows and does what is best.
So in God, let it rest!

Ooops! You forgot to say your prayers daily.
Ooops! You forgot to go to church or bible study.
Ooops! You haven't been reading the bible regularly.
Ooops! You forgot what Proverbs 16:24 says about pleasant words.
Ooops! You forgot to be nice or heavenly.
Ooops! You haven't been living according to God's commandments.
Ooops! You forgot to love thy neighbor acting peacefully.
Ooops! You haven't been putting God first.

When you don't praise and glorify God,
Your life won't seem to go right,
Your life will have something missing or odd.

When you don't walk in the light and love of our Father,
You are welcoming in Satan
And evil to come in and bother.

Correct your life's ooops!
Do some Spring cleaning
And spiritually re-group
Just by adding God into the loop.

A bad credit report, a bad earthly report has a damning consequence

In my life who caused me

Tears, pain and anxiety.

 God saw my misery.

God heard my prayer.

God eased my pain like Tylenol or Bayer.

I was able to separate myself from that which is not heavenly.

Now I am living a life of tranquility.

 Whenever I pat a dog or cat pet,

Whenever I seek a tree for shade,

Whenever I walk on some green grass,

Whenever I run my feet through some beach sand,

I see.  I ponder.  

And I remember God’s covenant and treaty

with all beings including me.

I pray that he will not be a peer pressure fool

O God, please enable me to lead, protect

I was crying out to God Almighty.

Will You Pass The Exam?

God will put us to the test

Through many trails and tribulations.

Will you still think God is the best?

 

God will put obstacles in our paths,

In our back yards, on our porch.

But will you still give Him His glory?

Will you still be in the light and carry His torch?

God will test our minds

And put us in binds

To see if we will still follow Him

For better or worse and in any daily grind.

 God will test our hearts

And give eye to our deeds.

Will you pass His many exams?

And always hold His hand

And follow His lead?

Two houses I didn’t get

It caused me a little sadness

But I did get over the fret

A house in Beltsville

Don’t get to be mine

I thought they would be

A nice first house and a good find

The real estate market

Is real competitive these days

Houses get bided up higher than the list price

Plus cash is what many do pay

I have been looking for my first house

Since the end of June

And also placing all wants and desires in God’s hand

Letting Him be my pilot to my house and piece of land

Who Will Show Us Any Good?

God will show us what is good, correct and right.

God will take our hand.

of His countenance,

of the brilliant sun,

of the enchanting moon,

of the light bulb from the lamp,

of dawn,

So we can see,

walk, live and stay focused

On Him, the Almighty.

Where are you God?

I need to know.

How do I find you?

Where should I look or go?

 

God answered,

“I am the air and a breeze.

I am the tall majestic trees.

I am the west, east, south, and north.

I am the sky, heaven, and earth.

I am the bright morning star.

I am the strength you need when opening a jar.

I am the enchanting moonlight and radiant sun.

I am the Almighty One.

I am the Artist that painted nature’s canvas.

I am the man, woman or child you walk pass.

I am the wind that kisses your cheek.

I am the creator of the seven days of the week.

I am the first and the last.

I am the present and the past.

I am the breath you take.

I am the ocean, sea, bay and lake.

I am the only way.

I am the night and day.

I am the truth, life and vine.

I am the judge of all mankind.

I am the destructive hurricane and tornado.

I am the cause of many calamities and fiascos.

I am the light of the world.

Did I answer your question my child, my girl?”

Rest!

Rest is something in my past

Prior to 3/27/03

When it was just me.

 

Rest!

Rest is something I don’t get

With a 14 month old

So much to do, many needs to be met.

Rest is something I wish I had

From diaper changing, feeding, bathing and cleaning up.

Just one day would make me glad.

 

Rest!

Rest is something in my future

And in days to come

When I die and meet My Maker

Spending eternity with the Almighty One.

A time to gurgle

A time to crawl

Toddler

A time to learn how to walk

A time to play and interact

A time to explore

A time to eat new foods galore

 

Teenager

A time to develop

A time to transition into adulthood

A time to start dating

A time to obey your dad and mom

A time to go dances and the prom

 

Adulthood

A time to be wise

A time to make good choices

A time to reflect on infancy, toddler and teenager days

A time to be thankful for making it to adulthood

A time to always kneel and pray

 

No matter what stage or place we are in life

There should always be

A time to be with God

On The First Day of School

On the first day of school

We recited the pledge allegiance to the flag

And this really got me thinking

That we should have been pledging allegiance

To God the Almighty.

 

For it was

God the Almighty that made me be

Able to walk, talk and see.

 

For it was

God the Almighty that made me

Able to learn, think and write

My A – B – C’s and 1 – 2 – 3’s.

 

For it was

God the Almighty that made me be

Able to be in school.

So it was God the Almighty I pledged allegiance to daily.

I kept Him with me always.  He was my #1 tool.

What's on your mind

when you hear about

terrorism, molestation and rape

or a teenage boy getting killed over a buying a girl a slurpie

or a little girl getting shot by a stray bullet in her Aunt’s house?

 

What’s on my mind

Is that many are in Satan’s grip

And God they need to find.

 

What’s on my mind

Is that violence is a solution

Instead of seeking God in a bad bind.

 

What’s on my mind

Is that there needs to be more peace and love

For each other and all of mankind.

The pressure is on but

Not by my peers.

 

The pressure is on by God the Almighty.

His wrath, rod and staff is what I fear.

 

The pressure is on each and every day.

His commandments and words I do obey

The pressure is on to live a good and righteous life;

One that is spiritual and always sincere.
